TRID 2.0

The Bureau of Bureau of Consumer Financial Protection issued an amendment to the existing integrated mortgages disclosure rules that memorializes their informal guidance and makes clarification and technical amendments. Although this rule became effective on October 10, 2017, compliance is mandatory on October 1, 2018. The changes includes coverage of all cooperative units (regardless of applicable state law classification), changes related to the loan estimate, closing disclosure, escrow closing notice, construction loans and certain tolerance levels.
